Playstation Move Heroes

Senior Mission Designer - Nihilistic Software

April 2010 - December 2010

Move Heroes was actually fun and challenging game to work on because we were limited on the number of level geometry we could use. And the video above is a great example of a reused level layout which I used to script and place the gameplay in. The startpoints could be placed anywhere and barriers could be put up to keep the player character on a certain path so even thought the levels looked the same, they played differently form each other.

Duties

  • Responsible for designing and implementing 5 missions.

  • Wrote and maintained systems documents for melee abilities.

There were also jump pads that could be placed at dead ends to keep progressing. There was a lot of script work in this game too and we were able to control the cameras for cutscenes as well as the normal gameplay scripting needed.
